Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (‘Terms’) govern your use of the services provided by A1 Local Garage Door (‘A1’, ‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’), located at 3685 Starship Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89147, reachable at (702) 937-2911 and a1localgaragedoor.com.

By booking a service, accepting a quote, or allowing work to proceed, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before scheduling service.

1. Services Provided

A1 Local Garage Door provides residential and light commercial garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, including but not limited to:

  • Torsion and extension spring replacement
  • Cable, roller, and track repair
  • Garage door opener installation and repair (LiftMaster, Genie, Chamberlain, Linear, Craftsman, and others)
  • New garage door installation (Amarr, Clopay, and other brands)
  • Emergency same-day and after-hours service

All work is performed by in-house technicians employed directly by A1. We do not use subcontractors.

2. Service Appointments

Scheduling

Appointments are confirmed when you receive verbal or written confirmation from our team. Same-day availability depends on technician routing and call volume. Calls received before 2pm have the best same-day availability.

Access to property

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the garage door and any equipment required for the repair or installation. A responsible adult (18 or older) must be present during the service visit.

Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge by calling us at least 2 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations with less than 2 hours notice, or no-shows when the technician arrives on site, may result in the $49 trip fee being charged without credit toward future service.

3. Pricing and Payment

Trip fee

A $49 trip fee is charged for each service visit. This fee covers the technician’s travel and on-site diagnosis. If you approve the repair or installation following the diagnosis, the $49 is credited toward your total. If you decline to proceed after diagnosis, the trip fee is non-refundable.

Written quote

Before any work begins, the technician will provide a written quote for the full scope of work. No repair or installation will proceed without your explicit approval of that quote. Final charges will not exceed the approved quote unless additional work is discovered and separately approved by you during the visit.

Payment methods

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. We do not accept personal checks. All transactions are processed securely.

Disputed charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 7 business days of your service date. We will review and respond within 5 business days.

4. Warranty

Parts and labor warranty

All repairs and installations are backed by a parts and labor warranty. The specific warranty period will be stated on your written invoice at the time of service. This warranty covers defects in the parts installed and the workmanship of the installation.

What the warranty covers

  • Mechanical failure of parts installed by A1 within the warranty period
  • Labor required to correct any installation error made by A1

What the warranty does not cover

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, forced entry, weather events, or acts of God
  • Normal wear and tear on parts not replaced during your service visit
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or repairs after our service
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function

Warranty claims

To make a warranty claim, call us at (702) 937-2911 within the warranty period. We will schedule a return visit at no charge if the issue falls within warranty coverage.

5. Customer Responsibilities

By booking service, you confirm that:

  • You are the property owner or have authority to authorize repairs on the property
  • You will provide accurate information about the issue so the technician can bring the right parts
  • You will keep the work area clear and safe for the technician
  • You will not attempt to operate a garage door that has been tagged or flagged as unsafe by our technician until repairs are complete

A1 is not responsible for damage resulting from customer actions that are inconsistent with the technician’s safety instructions.

6. Limitation of Liability

A1 Local Garage Door’s total liability for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service visit.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of income, property damage unrelated to the garage door itself, or injury resulting from unauthorized use of a door that has been flagged as unsafe.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Safety Notices

Garage door springs, cables, and openers operate under high tension and can cause serious injury if handled incorrectly. Our technicians are trained to perform these repairs safely.

You agree not to attempt DIY repairs on torsion springs, high-tension cables, or opener motor assemblies following our service visit. If a door is flagged unsafe by our technician, do not operate it until it has been repaired. A1 is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from failure to follow these safety guidelines.

8. Website Use

Our website at a1localgaragedoor.com is provided for informational and booking purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access restricted areas of the site
  • Submit false or misleading information through any form or booking tool

We reserve the right to suspend or block access to our website at our discretion, without notice, if we believe misuse has occurred.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new ‘Last updated’ date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify existing customers directly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from services provided by A1 Local Garage Door will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
